Beyond general radiology examinations, they also offer ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography scans allowing for full integration of all diagnostic and screening services.
Léger Radiologie: Our Story
The clinic was founded in 1962 by Dr. Jean-Louis Léger, who at the time was the head of the radiology department at Notre-Dame Hospital and the director of the radiology department at The Faculty of Medicine of the Université de Montréal.
In 2000, the clinic merged with Services radiologiques de Montréal, then owned by the radiologists working at Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, and consolidated its operations at 1851 Sherbrooke Street East.
Always a pioneer in the evaluation of breast pathologies, the Léger Clinic expanded and modernized its premises in 2006 to accommodate the breast imaging center fully digitalized.
Today, after more than 60 years, the Léger Radiologie Inc. clinic has more than 27 radiologists, 8 technologists and 16 other employees in various positions.
